Dogs
Our labradors Humphrey and Dora both love Figgy Cottage, especially the garden and how close they are to the beach.
As dog people ourselves we know that they are part of the family and enjoy a holiday as much as we do.
We are therefore very happy to welcome your dog to Figgy Cottage.
It’s a great doggy pad with the hard floors downstairs inside and totally secure courtyard and further lawned garden outside.
There’s even a peg hook outside the front door to hang soggy collars and leads after a swim.
All we ask is that you let us know by prior arrangement that a doggy is coming with you (one maximum, unless very tiny).
St Ives is a fabulous place to bring your dog.
The town itself is very pro-dog with many places welcoming our four-legged friends. Humph now knows exactly which shops, pubs and restaurants he will get a biscuit in, whilst Dora is more interested about getting to the beach and chasing her ball.
The beaches have seasonal rules about dogs, but even within the town there is always a beach they are welcome on all-year round. They just love it.
We hope it goes without saying that we expect guests to clear up after their dog in the garden area, and also to make sure that dogs are never left in the cottage on their own.
